On Monday, May 4, 2026, the Kyle Hicks Memorial Fund held its second annual Kyle Hicks Memorial Golf Tournament. We had a tremendous turnout and were blessed with beautiful weather (plus a little wind to help keep us cool)!
We had 128 golfers on 32 teams participate with both golfers and volunteers coming in from out of state to support us and enjoy a day on/at the course. 

Once again, Neil Clements and Billy Ragland put together a first class event that represented our son, Kyle, with great honor and respect - we cannot thank them enough.
With the overwhelming generosity of our sponsors, donors and participants, we raised over $42,000 toward the foundation from this tournament - that is more than double from last year's successful event. 
Just incredible!! All proceeds raised go directly to continuing our mission of recognizing and rewarding outstanding people in our communities.

Thank you from the Hicks Family to all that came out and supported this tournament and our family. Words alone cannot express the level of gratitude we have for all of you. 

We are already looking forward to our 3rd Annual Tournament next year, so mark your calendars for May 10, 2027!

On Sunday, April 26, 2026, the Kyle Hicks Memorial Fund held a ceremony to recognize, honor and celebrate volunteer recreational youth soccer coaches in the Cleburne soccer community. 
Players and parents were asked to nominate their coaches who they felt went above and beyond to lead their teams and provide a solid example as a role model. 
Volunteer coaches are true pillars in our communities and we are honored to recognize your contributions.

On Saturday, November 1, 2025, The Kyle Hicks Memorial Fund held a recognition ceremony to honor and celebrate first responders in the Fort Worth Youth Soccer Association community. 
Coaches, referees, players and parents were invited to nominate family members that also serve as a first responder. 
As in the past, we have expanded our definition of first responders to include those that serve as police, fire fighters, nurses 
as well as teachers and stay-at-home moms, as all are vital pillars of our communities.
